Account & security

Manage your account

Under "Account & security" in the dashboard you can manage your account details:

  • Change your email address
  • Change your password
  • Update your name
  • Delete your account

Sign-in methods

You can sign in using different methods:

  • Email & password – the classic method
  • GitHub – with your GitHub account (OAuth)
  • Google – with your Google account (OAuth)

You can use multiple methods simultaneously. For example, if you registered with GitHub you can also set a password.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

For additional security we recommend enabling 2FA:

  1. Go to "Account & security".
  2. Click "Enable 2FA".
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password).
  4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm the setup.
  5. Save the backup codes in a secure place – you can use them to sign in if you lose access to the app.
Important Keep your backup codes safe! If you lose both the authenticator app and the backup codes, access to your account can only be restored through support.

Sessions and devices

Under "Account & security" you can see a list of all active sessions. If you don't recognize a device you can end the session there.

Delete account

You can delete your account at any time. This permanently removes all data:

  • All scans and results
  • API keys
  • Team memberships

An active subscription is automatically cancelled. Already paid periods are not refunded.

Forgot password

  1. Go to zeroflaw.net/forgot-password.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. You'll receive a reset link by email.
  4. The link is valid for 1 hour.
